Color becomes clearer when it moves.

Each project isolates one part of the framework. The displayed names are practical labels or nearest matches—not universal boundaries.

Why brown behaves like dark orange

Keep the hue near Orange and lower OKLCH lightness. Then compare the same patch on white, gray, and black. The coordinates stay fixed while its appearance changes with context.

The experiment does not claim that every brown is mathematically identical to orange. It shows why “dark orange” is a useful structural relationship.

Where does Green begin?

Move continuously from Yellow toward Blue at a fixed lightness. The framework’s nearest family changes from Yellow to Lime, Green, Cyan, and Blue—but the underlying color never jumps.
